Tips for a logo that looks sharp.

Small, simple and easy to read.

Two ways to add your logo.

Upload it, or use one that’s already online.

Open the builder
  1. Option 1: Upload it

In the Images tab, choose Upload and pick a PNG or JPEG. Choose Logo to keep the whole image, or Photo for a square or round crop. It’s prepared in your browser (resized, with hidden metadata removed) and isn’t sent to our servers.

  2. Then add it in your email app

When you copy your signature, the prepared image downloads too. Insert it with the image button in your email app’s signature editor: see Gmail, Outlook or Apple Mail.

  3. Option 2: Use an Image URL

If your logo is already online at a public https address, such as on your website, choose Image URL and paste the address. The builder checks that it loads and includes it when you copy, so there’s nothing else to add.

Why an uploaded logo doesn’t copy

Email signatures show pictures from the web. A picture that only lives on your computer has no web address, so it can’t travel inside a copied signature. That’s why the builder downloads your prepared image instead, and your email app stores it with your signature when you insert it. We don’t host uploaded images.

If you use an Image URL

The address has to stay online. If the file moves or is deleted, the logo disappears from emails you’ve already sent. Some email apps also hide pictures from the web until the reader allows them.

Logos and dark mode

A dark logo on a transparent background can be hard to see when an email app switches to dark colors. Check the Dark preview in the builder. If your logo fades away, use a version with a light outline or a white background.

FAQ

Questions, answered.

More in Help & troubleshooting, or contact us.

Is adding a logo free?

Yes. The free Minimal template supports your logo or a profile photo. No account, credit card or watermark.

Do you host my logo?

No. Uploaded images stay in your browser and download to your computer when you copy. If you want the logo to come along with the copy, use an image that’s already online with the Image URL option.

Can I use a round profile photo?

Yes. Choose Photo · round and the builder crops it to a circle in the image file itself, so it stays round even in email apps that ignore rounded corners.

Can I add both a logo and a photo?

Each signature has one image: your logo or your photo. Many people use their photo and type their company name next to it.

Can my logo be animated?

The builder takes PNG and JPEG files. Animated GIF logos are part of our custom design service.
